Epic

This has been a week of the Epic, the raw material of which new legends are built, towering fortresses of mighty exploits and heroic deeds rising out of the stirred dust of the Creation.
Of course these ideas mean nothing to those who count for nothing, who are born bereft of spirit or conviction and live selfish, swine-like lives. Ultimately though they are in the sway of those capable of taking hold of the epic qualities that are in every grain of this Universe. The Beige Ones may be on the top of the pile at the moment, but the future is forged from legends, not on who has the best stock portfolio.

A quest

A journey was undertaken just the other day: a trek of many miles across the most hostile regions of the Adelaide Plains. The ones who heeded the call took on their shoulders a task only the brave could reckon with . Pushing the frontiers of what the uninspired consider sane or reasonable, we communed with the Rust God, and drew close to the mighty metal monsters that migrate across the Continent. Battered but not broken, we gained the City. The feast that awaited us was arguably even more epic than the feat we had accomplished.

Rest In Peace

One day I encountered a beast that had recently met its end. A giant creature of many legs, I had dealt with it many times in my travels, and it was known to be an honourable and wise being. Needless to say, I was saddened by its passing, and the proper respects had to be paid. I gathered my people together, and the sunset was outshone by the flaming casket making its way out over the water.

Fly freely amongst the trees of the Gods, Mr. Miyagi.

THAT'S IT
